I love the media in this country, Republicans ARE EVIL! Except when a Republican comes out against the party standard bearer in this case that would be Liz Cheney.
Before her we had our media friends glorifying Mitt Romney and John McCain but what’s funny about that is that just like Liz Cheney you can easily find many articles by our beloved media clowns slamming these same folks right up until they came out in opposition to the former President.
See, that right there? That’s serious TDS at work for you.
What our friends in the media aren’t telling you is that their darling Liz has other motivations for being against the former President, motivations they appear to ignore or gloss over readily.
But, let’s take a moment today to look at the same person that we continue to see the media presenting us as some stalwart who refuses to budge from her standards:
Does no one else find the media glorifying Liz NOW as more than a little ironic?
Liz and Mary Cheney had a very public falling out in 2014 during the former's failed run for the Senate. When asked about her stance on same-sex marriage, she openly opposed it, even though her younger sister Mary is gay (Mary, a former VP at AOL, married Heather Poe in 2012).
"Liz—this isn’t just an issue on which we disagree, you’re just wrong—and on the wrong side of history,” Mary wrote in a Facebook post. Heather also chimed in, writing, "Liz has been a guest in our home, has spent time and shared holidays with our children. To have her now say she doesn’t support our right to marry is offensive to say the least. I can’t help but wonder how Liz would feel if, as she moved from state to state, she discovered that her family was protected in one but not the other.”
Now, if that’s not enough irony for our darling liberals on the Left who run to throw their arms around her, let’s not forget that there are a slew of people who are Republicans who are still seriously butthurt over the fact that President Trump dispatched Jeb Bush who in Bush family circles was going to be the heir apparent and carry on the Bush Dynasty in the Oval Office.
If you look at the people behind the Lincoln Project and all these other groups of unhappy Republicans the common denominator you find is that they are all connected in some way to the Bush family or the Bush Administration.
There were a lot of angry people in 2016 believe you and me. People who counted on their return to power once more and another ascendancy of their agenda.
Don’t think that’s true?
Yeah, that would be a lot of people who have been in and around Washington DC for decades. It underscores one of the biggest reasons why the former President was such a threat, you see we have an embedded political class in DC and it’s something that needs to change for the benefit of our nation, until it does we will continue to find nothing more than the same old same old from our ‘leaders’ who will continue to get rich from being in government without really doing right by our citizens.
Watching Democrats though embrace Liz Cheney when she is the female equivalent of her dad is really laughable - it shows just how desperate these folks still are.
